Your Right to Data Deletion
At Social Manager by Kavvat, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You have the
right to request deletion of all personal information we hold about you at any time.
What Data We Store
When you use Social Manager by Kavvat, we may store the following types of data:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and login credentials
- Connected Social Accounts: Access tokens and page information for connected
Facebook/Instagram pages
- Messages & Comments: Copies of messages and comments received through connected pages
- Configuration Data: Auto-reply rules, templates, and scheduling preferences
- Usage Logs: Activity logs and webhook events
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Through Your Account
- Log in to your Social Manager by Kavvat account
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Data Management
- Click "Delete All My Data"
- Confirm your request
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Option 2: Via Email
Send a data deletion request to:
Email: privacy@kavvat.com
Please include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- A clear statement requesting deletion of your data
Option 3: Facebook Data Deletion Callback
If you connected your account via Facebook Login, you can also request data deletion through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
- Find Social Manager by Kavvat
- Click "Remove" to revoke access and trigger data deletion
What Happens After Deletion Request
Upon receiving your deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account access will be suspended
- Within 24 hours: Social media connections will be disconnected
- Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming the completion of data deletion
Data We May Retain
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Records required for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance
- Anonymized data for analytics (not personally identifiable)
- Information necessary to enforce our terms or prevent fraud
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are processed within:
- Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours
- Completion: Within 30 days
